'Summit, the Economy, You' topics of free April 1 event

SUMMIT -- Mayor Jordan Glatt and the Other Fellow First Foundation invite the Summit community for coffee, dessert and an opportunity to participate in a panel conversation focused on the changing economic environment.

The event will be held on Wednesday, April 1, at The Grand Summit Hotel from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Moderated by Mayor Glatt, the evening will feature six local experts offering insights and suggestions on an array of economic topics that all impact the local Summit community.
The informal evening will begin with desert and coffee, followed by a panel discussion about topics including Summit real estate values, unemployment concerns, foreclosures, investments, 401-k's and family anxiety. Afterwards, Mayor Glatt will invite the audience to participate in a question and answer follow up.
Panelists will include Lois Schneider, president, Lois Schneider Realtor; Phil Roberts, a local dad who just found a new job; Mort O'Shea, CEO, Hilltop Community Bank; the Reverend Charles Rush, senior pastor, Christ Church; Scott Terry, a local attorney with Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper; and David Bunting, chairman, Brave Asset Management, Investment Advisors.
Mayor Glatt said, "Conversation leads to understanding. These are extraordinary times for Summit and for the entire country. We hope the community will benefit from the informal discussion about important family matters." Dress is casual and admission is free, but seating is limited, and RSVPs are requested: 908-273-8264.
